【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesguidelinessettingoutthephasesandprocedurestobefollowedinterminologystandardizationprojects,aswellasharmonizationanduniformityprojects,bothinsideandoutsidetheframeworkofinternationalstandardization.Itisdividedintotwosections,thefirstonedealingwithterminologystandardizationingeneral,andtheseconddealingwithterminologystandardizationwithininternationalstandardsbodies(ISO,forexample).Itanswersaneedexpressedbymanymembersofnationalandinternationalstandardsbodiesandmanagersofterminologyworkinggroupsforastandardonthemanagementofterminologystandardizationprojects,ratherthansolelyontheprocessesofterminologywork,projectmanagementorqualityassurance,whicharecoveredinotherstandards.Itdoesnotstipulatetheprinciplesofterminologywork,whicharetreatedinotherISO/TC37standards(seeISO704forexample),northemethodologicalapproachtointernationalharmonizationofconcepts,conceptsystems,termsanddefinitions,whicharetreatedinISO860.Italsodoesnotdealwiththerulesforthepreparationandlayoutofinternationalterminologystandards,outlinedinISO10241,orprovideadviceforcreatingandusingterminologicaldatabases,foundinISO/TR12618.Finally,itdoesnotdealwiththeguidelinesonqualityinprojectmanagementfoundinISO10006.Theseguidelinesshouldbeappliedtoallphasesofterminologystandardizationprojects,fromtheinitialidentificationofneedstothefinalsatisfactionofrequirementsanduserexpectations.
