【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesamethodfordeterminingthehorizontalburningrateofmaterialsusedintheoccupantcompartmentofroadvehicles(forexample,passengercars,lorries/trucks,estatecars,coaches),andoftractorsandmachineryforagricultureandforestry,afterexposuretoasmallflame.Thismethodpermitstestingofmaterialsandpartsofthevehicleinteriorequipmentindividuallyorincombinationuptoathicknessof13mm.Itisusedtojudgetheuniformityofpro-ductionlotsofsuchmaterialswithrespecttotheirburningbehaviour.Becauseofthemanydifferencesbetweentherealworldsituation(applicationandorientationwithinvehicleinterior,conditionsofuse,ignitionsource,etc.)andtheprecisetestconditionsspecifiedinthisInternationalStandard,thismethodcannotbeconsideredassuitableforevaluationofalltruein-vehicleburningcharacteristics.
