【摘要】:Thisdocumentisconcernedwiththefactthatanelectricblastingcap(initiator)mightexplodeunexpectedlywhenanearbyradiotransmitteristurnedon.Acapcanabsorbelectricalenergyfromafree-spaceelectromagneticfieldofthetypeproducedbyradioandradartransmitters.Thisdocumentprovidesrecommendationsforlimitingtheamountofelectricalenergyabsorbedandrecommendedmethodsfordeterminingsafedistancesfromradioandradartransmittingantennaswhenoneisusingelectricblastingcaps.SafetyisdeterminedbycomparingtheRFpowerpickuptotheblastingcap?sno-firepowerlevel.Thiscriterionisvalidoverthefrequencyrange3kHzto300GHzthatiscommonlydiscussedinconnectionwithRFsafety.Radiofrequencytransmittersthatablastermightencounteroccupyonlyasmallportionofthisfrequencyrange.Specifically,thisdocumentexplainshowtodeterminesafedistancesfromRFtransmitterswithspectrumbandsfrom10kHzto12GHz,includingVHFandUHFtelevisionantennas,FMandAMradiotransmittingantennas,radar,navigationbeacons,andportablecommunicationdevices.Thisdocumentexcludescriteriafortheuseofelectro-explosivedevices(EEDs)withelectricallyconductiveenclosuresorweaponscontainers,anditdoesnotincludesufficientinformationonhazardsderivingfromelectrostaticsorfromelectromagneticfieldsgeneratedbyothersourcesofenergy,suchaselectricalstorms,electromechanicalequipment,electricalpowerplants,orpowertransmissionlines.Thisdocumentdoesnotapplytotheuseofnon-electricdetonators.
