【摘要】:AllASTMtestmethodsarerequiredtoincludestatementsonprecisionandbias.SinceASTMbegantorequirealltestmethodstohaveprecisionandbiasstatementsthatarebasedoninterlaboratorytestmethods,therehasbeenincreasedconcernregardingwhatstatisticalexperimentsandprocedurestouseduringthedevelopmentofthetestmethods.Althoughthereexistsawiderangeofstatisticalprocedures,thereisasmallgroupofgenerallyacceptedtechniquesthatareverybeneficialtofollow.Thisdocumentisdesignedtoprovideabriefoverviewoftheseproceduresandtosuggestanappropriatesequenceofcarryingouttheseprocedures.Statisticalproceduresoftenresultininterpretationsthatarenotabsolutes.Sometimestheinformationobtainedmaybeinadequateorincomplete,whichmayleadtoadditionalquestionsandtheneedforfurtherexperimentation.Informationoutsidethedataisalsoimportantinestablishingstandardsandintheinterpretationofnumericalresults.FIG.1SequenceofSteps1.1Thisguideidentifiesstatisticalproceduresforuseindevelopingnewtestmethodsorrevisingorevaluatingexistingtestmethods,orboth.1.2Thisguidealsocitesstatisticalproceduresespeciallyusefulintheapplicationoftestmethods.
