【摘要】:OptionAproceduresofTestMethodD3774forwidthareconsideredsatisfactoryforacceptancetestingofcommercialshipmentsbecausetheyareusedextensivelyinthetrade.5.1.1IncaseofadisputearisingfromdifferencesinreportedtestvalueswhenusingTestMethodD3774foracceptancetestingofcommercialshipments,thepurchaserandthesuppliershouldconductcomparativeteststodetermineifthereisastatisticalbiasbetweentheirlaboratories.Competentstatisticalassistanceisrecommendedfortheinvestigationofbias.Asaminimum,thetwopartiesshouldtakeagroupoftestspecimenswhichareashomogeneousaspossibleandwhicharefromalotofmaterialofthetypeinquestion.Thetestspecimensshouldthenberandomlyassignedinequalnumberstoeachlaboratoryfortesting.TheaverageresultsfromthetwolaboratoriesshouldbecomparedusingStudentrsquo;t-testforunpaireddataandanacceptableprobabilitylevelchosenbythetwopartiesbeforetestingisbegun.Ifabiasisfound,eitheritscausemustbefoundandcorrectedorthepurchaserandthesuppliermustagreetointerpretfuturetestresultsinthelightoftheknownbias.DESIG:D377496(Reapproved2008)^TITLE:StandardTestMethodforWidthofTextileFabric^SIGNUSE:OptionAproceduresofTestMethodD3774forwidthareconsideredsatisfactoryforacceptancetestingofcommercialshipmentsbecausetheyareusedextensivelyinthetrade.IncaseofadisputearisingfromdifferencesinreportedtestvalueswhenusingTestMethodD3774foracceptancetestingofcommercialshipments,thepurchaserandthesuppliershouldconductcomparativeteststodetermineifthereisastatisticalbiasbetweentheirlaboratories.Competentstatisticalassistanceisrecommendedfortheinvestigationofbias.Asaminimum,thetwopartiesshouldtakeagroupoftestspecimenswhichareashomogeneousaspossibleandwhicharefromalotofmaterialofthetypeinquestion.Thetestspecimensshouldthenberandomlyassignedinequalnumberstoeachlaboratoryfortesting.TheaverageresultsfromthetwolaboratoriesshouldbecomparedusingStudent''st-testforunpaireddataandanacceptableprobabilitylevelchosenbythetwopartiesbeforetestingisbegun.Ifabiasisfound,eitheritscausemustbefoundandcorrectedorthepurchaserandthesuppliermustagreetointerpretfuturetestresultsinthelightoftheknownbias.^SCOPE:1.1Thistestmethodcoversthemeasurementofthewidthoffabrics,pileornappedsurfacewidth,orboth.Themethodisapplicabletofullrolls,boltsoffabric,andshortspecimensremovedfromarollorbolt.Unlessotherwisespecified,measurementsshallincludetheselvageswhenpresent.1.2Themethodofferstwooptions:1.2.1OptionA8212;FullRollorBolt.1.2.2OptionB8212;ShortSpecimenRemovedfromFullRollorBolt.1.3ThevaluesstatedineitherSIunitsorU.S.customaryunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.TheU.S.customaryunitsmaybeapproximate.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.^REFERENCE:ASTMStandards:D123TerminologyRelatingtoTextiles
